Device diagram The metal detector consists of a parallel voltage stabilizer (transistors V1 V2) at the generator of high (about 100 khz) frequency on the transistor V4, the detector of HF Oscillation (V5) and the amplifier of a direct current (V6, V7) with the indicator on the LED V8. The high-frequency voltage from the L2 communication coil is rectified by the emitter transition of the transistor V5. This transistor will be opened when the generator is running and the V6 V7 transistors are closed. The V8 led does not glow. If you bring any metal object to the L1 coil, the oscillation of the generator loosest, transistor V5 closes, V6 V7-open, and the LED will glow.
