In this project we are going to design a simple metal detector circuit. Today we know a large number of ways to make a metal detector at home completely independently, without the help of specialists. Some of them require certain knowledge of physics, as well as skills of working with electro-and radio devices. Others do not require any special skills, and any newcomer can independently assemble a metal detector at home.
The metal detector is ready, you can start to test it. For convenience of use to detector it is possible to attach a convenient handle. To search for coins and metal in the ground the power of such a device will be small, but in the house it can always come in handy. For example, to search for a hidden transaction, a wall or to find a metal under a plasterboard sheet.
On the inside of the box from under the CD firmly fasten with the help of a double-sided tape radio the back side. If there is no Scotch, you can use a tape or a velcro patch. The included calculator is attached to the second inner side of the box in the same exact way. Now you need to turn on the radio, making sure that it is set to the "AM" range. Choose the highest frequency in this range. There should be no radio stations, otherwise the metal detector will not work. If the highest frequency is still busy, choose the nearest high to it and watch, that the radio station does not scored the ether, i.e. it was audible only noise and no other sounds.
